Collapsing dollar
So we the taxpayers own AIG now! Low cost health care for every American is finally within reach! I never should have doubted the Republic party!

Collapsing dollar
Eight years ago experts warned that giving people massive tax rebates (a bribe, I called it) was like throwing gasoline on a fire -- it burns your fuel too fast and you wind up with a problem later.

Then two years later experts warned that going to war with Iraq (and spending billions and billions of dollars) would shock our economy and bring it down.

Both things came to pass, and guess what happened? Follow the money...

o Who made money off the 2001 tax rebates? You?

o Who made money off the Iraq war? You?

o Who’s going to pay for the $320 billion bailout of Fannie Mae and Bear Stearns and AIG? YOU!

Gotta love trickle-down.

This effects us all.

Collapsing dollar
Treasury sectratary, Heads of Senate and Congress and Chairman of the federal reserve have determined that the way to get our economy and housing markets back on track is to keep interest rates low and to pump more fake and borrowed money into the economy which is exactly what was done to get us IN to this mess. Ok these people cant be that stupid, either ther’re trying to pass the buck, pun intended, or more likely they have some ulterior motive like the complete collapse of the dollar and rise of the Amero.

Transportation Security Operations Center Re-Named Freedom Center
http://www.tsa.gov/p...edom_dedication.shtm

"On June 21, TSA’s primary operational hub was re-named the Freedom Center, symbolizing the agency’s commitment to protecting the nation’s transportation systems against terrorist threats."

It is my sincerest hope that nobody I know ever has to submit to the Freedom Finger.

No bull: Police lasso bull on NYC’s streets - Bull dies after arrest
Sep. 18, 2008

NEW YORK - It looked like an urban rodeo on the streets of New York City.

Police say a young bull made a dash for freedom through the streets of Queens on Wednesday night but suddenly died before he could be taken to an animal sanctuary.

Police cars tried to steer the bull off the crowded roadways but the several-hundred-pound animal hit and damaged a squad car. An NYPD officer with urban cowboy skills lassoed the bull and it was tranquilized.

New York Center for Animal Care and Control spokesman Richard Gentles says the bull died less than an hour after it was brought in. He says veterinarians found no signs of what had caused the bull’s death.

An NYPD spokesman says it’s not known where the bull had been kept.

Fun poll on CakeMusic.com
I sometimes go to Cake’s website to see tour dates (they’ll be in Albany Sept 30th and in NJ Oct 1) and check out their weekly poll. This week’s poll is about pot: "Does marijuana often make people weak and paranoid?"

http://www.cakemusic.com/weekly_files/weekly.html

Fun conversation follows, as always. Check out the Comments after you do the poll.

Could be Techies???
I know this doesn’t have anything to do with the upcoming reunion, but I read it and immediately thought about some of the conversations I’ve overheard on the trains going home

Your School Does Suck
Bimbette #1: My school doesn’t give out our grades ’til three days after the semester.
Bimbette #2: Wow! My school sucks. We have to wait 72 hours.

On a funny note...
Ok, to lighten the mood here, I submit this to the general assemblage.

I don’t know how you all are about religion and the bible, but I found a site that puts many of the stories to Legos (yes, that’s right, the little block toys) and holy shit some if it’s pretty funny. Some of it’s fucked up too. Millions of people swear by this book. Talk about out of date.

For example:

’If two men are fighting...’
’...and the wife of one man rescues her husband from his assailant by grabbing his testicles...’
’...you must cut off her hand. Show her no pity.’

Jesus that’s some funny shit. Did you see the look on the guy’s face? And her’s?

Here’s the "The Laws" page for some of the more bizarre stuff

http://www.thebricktestament.com/the_law/

Another favorite of mine is "Why to Keep the Law" down near the bottom of the page. Some crazy stuff.

And here’s the home page that lists all the different areas, each with their own set of stories:

Wacky people, I’ll tell ya.
