OK...I have been sending the below e-mail out to you guys for the last week with not one response. I find it highly improbable that all of you went into hiding at the same time...was there a bank job I was not informed of? Anyway, I figure for some reason maybe my e-mail has not gotten to you all so I’m going to try reach you guys through here...I intentionally left out the phone #’s that I had put in the original e-mail. Hit me up if you need them.

So...what’s the final plan? I’ll be flying into JFK on July 13th and should be in at 16:40. The wife and I will be staying at the DoubleTree at JFK for the night and heading out to meet up with you guys on Sat.
Are we meeting at Tech?
What time?
Are we doing a tour of the school?
Are we doing lunch / a picnic?
Who is coming?
Do we have a final guest list?
Is there anything that needs to be done to help Liz?
Liz, do you need us to bring anything?
I can pick up some duty -free liquor on the way in...suggestions?
Does everybody have Liz’s address?
What time does the party start at Liz’s?
Where is everybody staying?
Have we heard back from Gunnar, Donna, Patrice, Gretchen, David Rutella...anybody else need to be contacted?

Chris & I have a reservation at the Riverview Best Western in Rahway about 4 miles from Liz’s house for the night of the 14th.....it has an indoor pool....bring your suits....do I hear Midnight Swim? My wife’s cell # is ***-***-**** in case anybody needs to get hold of us once I arrive, our home # is ***-***-**** in case you need to get hold of her before I get in. For the beer crowd I’ll bring down some BBC (Berkshire Brewing Company) Traditional Ale. It’s an excellent local brew. I assume we’ll be grilling.

How about music. Are we covered? I have a ton of stuff on my laptop and would be willing to put something together as the soundtrack of the party. Some old stuff, some new... any requests? I think I remember our individual likes from back then, though I’m sure we’ve all also grown a bit in that regards.

Liz, do you have a something set up for outdoor audio? A simple boom box with a line in, or external speakers on the house system?

I’m really looking forward to the get together in July. It’s going to be great to see all of you and hear how you’re all doing. Just a few thoughts ...Since it’s been forever since we’ve all seen each other, why not bring some pictures of what you’ve been up to the last twenty something years? Also, it looks like a few of you will be coming alone or with just your spouse so please bring some pictures of your family.
I’ve contacted a few of you asking about food likes and dislikes for the party; along the lines of allergies, whether you’re vegetarian or not, that sort of thing. Hey, with the sudden appearance of Bear it’s looking very likely that this website is going to catch more people from Tech out there, some (many?) of whom we/Liz may not want at the "private" party, and I’m thinking that these people will feel let down if a Parkies Party isn’t produced, somehow.

I’m wiling to attend a second party that is open to everyone. So I’m wondering, would some of you also go to another one that was open to more people? There are already four people on this website who are not members of this "Private Party @ Liz" group. I’m sure there will be many more by summer. I’m beginning to feel a little guilty about it in fact... creating a net to catch as many parkie "flies" yet only allow a few of them to the party. Seems a little dishonest, like bait and switch.

Thoughts? Maybe a couple of us who would attend both should instigate the conversation about times and places on the public Catching Up corkboard and get the other party started. Nothing wrong with two parties. Maybe at a restaurant the Friday night before Liz’s and use the park for a noon party-bridging picnic Saturday afternoon. Then we all wander off our separate ways, meeting up a little later.

I really want another photo of us in the park. A 2007 edition of the Drinking Team, and maybe a 2007 edition of Liz and Sarah on the bulkhead.
 

In an earlier Post, Sarah said she’s coming. She also said Gretchen would come and that Gretchen would contact Donna Burns. Maybe we could re-enact that yearbook pic with Mik’s face and Donna’s ass in the train!
As far as KC, I’m doing what I can to contact her. Also, if anyone can offer info on Patrice, it would be helpful. I’ve tried Yahoo and Classmates and so far I’ve drawn a blank. Like Jerry asked, if anyone has an old letter from her from when she went in the Army, her SSN would be on the return address. That can be used to track her. Did she go to a military school or was it West Point?

In the past few hours Liz, Paul, Rat and I have decided that the July 14 party should be a private party at Liz’s house in New Jersey. There will be other bigger parties that we can go to or coordinate and have everyone attend, but in deference to Liz’s house, and our wishes to have a smaller gathering to catch up for the first time, we’re going to keep it small. If you’re getting this email, then YOU’RE IN!

To allow us to discuss the party and speak more freely I made a new private area on the website called "Private Party @ Liz." Anything posted in here is not available to the world, only those who have been granted access and are logged in. It’ll probably wind up being about ten of us, altogether. And I’m moving a few messages over from the "Catching Up" group that mention details about the party so we can continue to discuss the details in that thread.

I’ve got Higgins’ number and can probably get in touch with Kern through him. Anyone else want to try finding Rutella? I’ve put a few hours in via the net with no luck. Perhaps you know someone who may have stayed in touch with him? I’m guessing he’s still in Manhattan, though of course who knows. How about KC?

I know Bonz is in California, and just did an Intelius.com search. I’ll call information and see if I can get in touch. Martin’s in fla somewhere.
 

This is very cool. I do believe we will have lots of fun and I cannot wait to see everyone! I will try to find patrice as well. does anyone remember her birthday? I had a a return address when she was at West Point prep school, which may include her SSN which would get me to her in about ten minutes. Geez, whoever thought being a Narc for 7 years would have such good benefits!
 

The 14th will do for me as well. I’ve been looking forward to this for a long time!
I’ll see what I can do to track down Patrice. Any information anyone has will be a great help in doing so. Sarah said she was in the Army. Anyone know if she’s still in? How long was she in for? Was her name still Boemio (sp?) or did she change it for marriage?

14 July looks good for my wife and I. We won’t be bringing our daughter. As far as places to stay, I was considering staying on Ft. Hamilton in army lodging. It would only make sense, I did live there and it’s cheap. Truth is I can’t wait.
 

How about Friday the 13th for a reunion dinner at a restaurant somewhere? A steak house perhaps? What if we met Friday late afternoon at the school for a beer in the park and then we pop over to Peter Lugers for a long dinner, then off to a bar for drinks.
